He is the real name behind many of dance music’s most mysterious pseudonyms: First there is Sonar Circle, avant garde Drum and Bass outfit signed to the legendary Reinforced Records. Then Domu, his main guise, designed to further the explorations into the syncopated rhythm, remixing and appearing on many labels such as 2000Black, Archive, Ninja Tune, Sonar Kollektiv, Compost, Rush Hour, Especial, Bitasweet, Schtum and many others. Umod, the backwards glitchy Hip – Hop kid, all nerdy and introverted, has had one album and a few remixes on Sonar Kollektiv, Jazzanova’s imprint.

Remixing is also continuing nicely, with mixes of Kidzen, Jazztronik and others coming soon. Domu is also a DJ of 13 years pedigree. His touring has taken him to Japan, Australia, USA, and most of Europe and Scandinavia, playing on the international circuit since 1998. |

Domu is a resident at the now 5 years old CO-OP at Plastic People, London, which many consider to be the hub of forward thinking dance music. |

Dj Yakuza started djing professionally at the age of 18 in Tokyo where he played at various Clubs around the Aoyama district. His main gig was at Kiss where he got the chance to further his skills at the side of such artists as JazzBrothers, U.F.O., Silent Poets, Shuwa Tei and the like. |
