BUDZILLUS | Booking for Turkey
Insanity has a name and chaos has a soundtrack – BuZillus! When the current members of BudZillus got together back in May of 2008, it was obvious that something special was in the making. In a short time, they went from playing in the streets to becoming one of Berlin’s most infamous live acts.
Within in one year, they became one of the resident bands at the legendary Bar 25 and were invited to play at the internationally renowned Fusion Festival, where their performance drove thousands of fans into a dancing frenzy. They have practically circled the earth two times playing hundreds of shows in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Turkey and played with the likes of World Inferno Friendship Society, Firewater, and Kultur Shock. Their musical journey has left the masses euphoric, bewildered, and sweaty.
This collection of didactics not only build their own instruments, but they also recorded and produced their first EP “Devils Polka” in June 2008 as well as their first full-length album entitled “BudZillus” in October 2009.
They masterfully combine swing and polka with punk, surf, a whisk of Russian and Southern European folklore, and a dab of rock ‘n’ roll. If that wasn’t enough, they sing witty lyrics in German, English, and Hungarian.
The band says, “Oriental-Swing-Punk” is possibly the best way to describe it.” And they’re off to the next gig.
